Character of the Day

Max

In my story, Max can be seen as the level headed leader of the group and shows romantic interest in Molly Hale once he meets her. Max is an extremely skilled and intelligent boy, who desires to become the best  pokémon trainer. He will be a main character in Hoenn Adventures.

Max is the younger brother of May in the anime. He has not yet received a Pokémon because he is under-age, but he became one of Ash's companions and joined Ash, Brock and his sister in order to see new Pokémon in Hoenn Region.  Max is a genius in the theory of Pokémon training, but he was too young to receive a Pokémon when he first appeared. Both May and Max are the children of Norman, the Gym Leader of Petalburg City and his wife Caroline. The two have a very close relationship. They often get upset with each other, but when they are in dangerous situations they try to protect each other, especially May. She sometimes gets angry with Max because he knows a lot about Pokémon and she is annoyed by not knowing the basics of training or Pokémon. He decided to travel with Ash and May to see even more Pokémon.

When Ash arrived at the gym without May in Petalburg City, he was met by little Max who was surprised to meet a trainer who he had watched on television only weeks ago, through participation in the Johto League Silver Conference. But he also mocked him for losing in the quarter finals of the tournament. He also criticized the Pokémon May chose, Torchic, saying he would have chosen a Treecko.

During his travels with his sister and his friends, Max was in charge of May's PokéNav, acting as a guide. Later on in the series, Max makes a habit of pulling Brock's ear when he sees and talks to a pretty girl, halting his romantic advances as Misty did in Kanto and Johto and the way Croagunk would Poison Jab Brock in Sinnoh for similar effect.

In the movie Jirachi: Wish Maker, Jirachi partnered with Max, becoming his first Pokémon. In Do I Hear A Ralts?, Max rescued a Ralts that was hurt and took the job of returning it back to its family, Gardevoir and Kirlia.

In Battle Dimension, Max made a brief cameo appearance with his parents watching May compete in the Wallace Cup, and also appears in a photo in the second Diamond and Pearl Special Episode.

Hoenn Adventures Chapter 1 has been posted

It is a story about Molly Hale, Max, Kathryn, Audrey, and Tory Lund. The story involves the adventure of this rambunctious bunch of kids, who wish to be the best and learn all about the Pokémon that surrounds their world. 

Character of The Day

Molly Hale

 Molly Hale is from the the third movie in the Pokemon franchise, Pokémon 3: Spell of the Unown. Molly is from Greenfield in the Johto region. She is the daughter of famous researcher Spencer Hale who disappeared suddenly while looking at ruins for his research of the Unknown pokemon. Molly then is sadden and looks at all the research Professor Hale had. She then uses the ancient letters of the Unknown to spell Papa, Mama, and Molly to symbolize her want for her father and mother. The unknown are called upon by Molly's will for her father and materialize a Entei to be a her replacement father. Her mansion also turns to a crystallization from Molly's dreams and wishes.

 Molly wished for a mother too and Delia Ketchum is picked to be that person. Entei takes Delia away for Ash and heads back to the crystallized mansion. As the story progresses Molly wishes to be a pokemon trainer once seeing Ash and his friends just outside the mansion. Molly from her wishes and dreams then transforms into a teenager battling against Brock, later turning into a preteen battling against Misty. It has proven that her dreamed up pokemon she uses against Brock and Misty are stronger than real ones.

 Molly soon is awoken by Delia from her fantasies, Delia tells Molly that she isn't her real mother. Molly soon reacts caused by Delia telling her they have to leave the mansion. Molly by then screaming causes Entei to return to her. Entei soon fights Ash stating he will protect Molly and that he is her real father. Ash battles against Entei in hopes of him seeing it isn't right for him to keep Molly in the mansion. Charizard soon enters the scene and fights with Ash to win against Entei. Entei proves to be too powerful and soon crushes Charizard under it's amazing power and almost finishes Charizard off.

 Molly soon says stop and the Entei obeys. Molly soon wishes for everything to go back to normal. The Unknown soon lose control of the psychic energy they were created. Entei, pikachu, and charizard together break the barrier. Everything goes back to normal and life returns back to the way it was. Professor Hale is scene returning from the Unknown world and later Molly's mother returning. We also see Molly has a Teddiursa at the end.

In the Hoenn Adventures

Molly Hale can be seen as slightly cheerful, but serious type of girl. Molly is the romantic interest for Max in this series and will be a main character in the series.  I hope you will enjoy what I do with the character Molly Hale in my story "Hoenn Adventures".
